Nadine Aysoy bracelets grant sick kids’ wishes

Jewellery designer Nadine Aysoy partners with children’s charity Rays of Sunshine to create a line of fundraising Soleil Wish bracelets

June 25, 2019 By Rachael Taylor

Jewellery brand Nadine Aysoy has teamed up with children’s charity Rays of Sunshine to raise money to help grant the wishes of children with life-limiting illnesses.

To raise funds for the charity, Nadine Aysoy has created a collection of Soleil Wish bracelets, with gold vermeil sun motifs set with a yellow or pink sapphire on a textured gold cord clasp. All proceeds from the sales of the bracelets, which are available to buy on the Nadine Aysoy website for $60, will go to Rays of Sunshine.

Nadine Aysoy launched the Soleil Wish bracelets at Rays of Sunshine’s annual charity gala in London earlier this month, which was attended by Lord Archer, Holly Valance, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra and singer Emeli Sande, who performed on the night. The bracelets sold out on the night.

“I am really excited to be collaborating with Rays of Sunshine children’s charity,” says founder and designer Nadine Aysoy, whose jewels have been worn by stars including Ellie Goulding, Amanda Holden and Laura Whitmore. “As a mother, this charity is very close to my heart, as we’re all at risk of having a child become unwell. Helping to bring a moment of joy to a very ill child going through all sorts of horrible treatments is very important to me. We are looking at turning Soleil into an official collection later this year, so that we can continue to support this wonderful cause.”

More than 6,900 wishes made by ill children have been granted since Rays of Sunshine was founded in 2003, and the charity has helped more than 60,000 children and young people in this time. Rays of Sunshine is on track to grant more than 800 wishes this year, which it said will “not only bring light and happiness to a child’s life, but also aid response to treatment and speed up recovery, according to 97% of medical professionals”.

Nadine Aysoy will be taking part in The Jewellery Cut Live on September 15th& 16th, 2019. Book your free ticket to the London Fashion Week event, which will be held this season at the Café Royal on London’s Regent Street, by registering here.
