What are lab-grown diamonds?

Join The Jewellery Cut and a panel of designers working in this emerging category to discuss laboratory-grown diamonds at The Jewellery Cut Live

January 29, 2019 By The Jewellery Cut

With the Duchess of Sussex wearing them, actress Penelope Cruz designing a collection around them and Leonardo DiCaprio investing in them, now is a great time to ask: What are lab-grown diamonds?

Join The Jewellery Cut and a panel of designers working in this emerging category, including Lark & Berry founder Laura Chavez, to discuss laboratory-grown diamonds at The Jewellery Cut Live, a boutique jewellery show at The Hoxton Holborn on the 18th & 19th of February, 2019. The session will be chaired by leading jewellery journalist and co-founder of The Jewellery Cut, Rachael Taylor.

This relaxed discussion will look at the technology behind this man-made innovation, what the pros and cons of chosing them over mined diamonds are, the investment possibilities, and who is wearing them and why. With tickets limited to just 20, you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about laboratory-grown diamonds directly to jewellers working with them.

Tickets for The Jewellery Cut asks: What are lab-grown diamonds? cost £20 and include access to the main The Jewellery Cut Live show and a glass prosecco – or other drink of your choice – from the bar. There will also be complementary nibbles and a manicurist from celebrity favourite Nails & Brows will be on hand to give free express polishes to anyone who has purchesed a jewel at the show.

Tickets to this intimate session are limited, with only 20 places available. Book your ticket here.
