Join The Jewellery Cut and a panel of experts for a talk on the essential trends that will be shaping jewellery and silver in 2020

January 8, 2020 By The Jewellery Cut

With Fashion Weeks heating up, the season for new collection launches upon us and The Jewellery Cut Live weeks away, the question is – what will be trending in jewellery over the next year?

Join The Jewellery Cut and a panel of experts for an evening of discussion at The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London this month, which will explore the biggest industry and craft trends in 2020.

The panel discussion, titled The Creative Links: Jewellery and Silver Trends – Experts Discuss What to Expect in 2020, will be led by Lynne Murray, director of the Digital Anthropology Lab at London College of Fashion. She will be asking how we can keep ahead of the trends curve by exploring design, colour and product trends, and what we should be adding to our jewellery boxes and investing in this year.

Joining her will be The Jewellery Cut co-founder Rachael Taylor, Vipa Designs director Peter Crump, Lumsden Design commercial retail expert James Dwyer, academic and craft practitioner Rajesh Gogna and Cockpit Arts chief executive Annie Warburton.

“A deep dive into the upcoming jewellery and silver trends in 2020 is a fascinating exercise, for those who work in the industry as well as keen collectors, and anyone with an interest in fashion or jewellery,” says Taylor. “We have some fantastic minds on the panel, and I’m sure this will be a great evening of exploration, insight and jewels to kick off the new year.”

The Creative Links: Jewellery and Silver Trends – Experts Discuss What to Expect in 2020 talk will be held at 6pm-8pm on January 16th, 2020, at The Goldsmiths’ Centre, 42 Britton Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 5AD. Tickets cost £10 (includes a welcome drink) and can be bought here
