Max Ginsberg, founder of the popular jewellers’ networking group, Jewellery and Watch Industry Network, will be joining The Jewellery Cut Live in September to host one of the group’s bi-monthly meet ups in the splendour of the Pompadour Room at Hotel Café Royal.
The networking event, which will run from 6pm to 8.30pm on September 16th, 2019, will offer professionals in the watch and jewellery industry the chance to meet each other in a relaxed space to share ideas, swap information and make connections.
As part of the event, author and gemmologist Kim Rix will be in attendance to offer advice on buying gems abroad. Rix, who has written a series of gem-buying travel guides as The Gemstone Detective, will offer tips on what to look for, what to avoid and what to ask when buying gemstones while travelling.
“The Jewellery and Watch Industry Network is a bi-monthly networking event bringing together members of the jewellery and watch communities, which could be anyone from early-stage businesses through to established jewellers and watch brands as well as businesses, groups or individuals involved in the jewellery and watch industry in some way,” says Ginsberg. “The group was formed out of the realisation that there are too many businesses and brands that don’t have anywhere to go for advice and support. We are delighted to be partnering with The Jewellery Cut Live to create a space for one of our meet ups during London Fashion Week.”
To attend The Jewellery and Watch Industry Network meet up at The Jewellery Cut Live, you must purchase a ticket. Tickets cost £15 and include a glass of champagne and entry to the main The Jewellery Cut Live boutique jewellery show.
