Conscious retailer brings sustainable jewellery brands and events to The Goldsmiths’ Centre and Princes Arcade in London in time for ChristmasNovember 11, 2019 By Rachael Taylor
Ethical shopping platform Seekd has teamed up with The Goldsmiths’ Centre for a festive pop-up shopping experience that will connect conscious consumers with ethically made jewellery.
Titled Shop For Good, the two-day shopping event will take place at The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London at the end of November. It will feature the work of 12 jewellery designers.
The jewellers taking part in Seekd’s Shop For Good this year are: Corrine Hamak, Elsa Tierney, Fraser Hamilton, Ellis Mhairi Cameron, Joy BC, Shimmel and Madden, Flora Bhattachary, Leonid Dementiev, Frances Wadsworth Jones, Natalie Perry, Untold, and Mocielli.
As well as the chance to buy direct from the designers at the event of November 28th and 29th, there will also be ticketed styling sessions and talks.
Seekd is also running a jewellery pop-up shop at London’s Princes Arcade on Piccadilly in partnership with jewellery brand Lemuria. The shop, which opened in October and will run until January, features a rolling roster of brands with the work of five new ethical jewellers on display each month.
Here, too, will be a series of interactive sessions, kicking off with a talk by The Gemstone Detective Kim Rix on Imperial topaz at the store this Thursday.
Seekd’s Shop For Good will take place on November 28th (5pm-8.30pm) and 29th (12pm-8.30pm), 2019, at The Goldsmiths’ Centre, 42 Britton Street, London, EC1M 5AD. Entrance is free but guests must register here
