Trang Do, founder and Creative Director of the fine jewellery brand Kimjoux,  has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the UK Jewellery Awards 2021 these are the Young Jewellery Designer of the Year and Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year.⁠

To celebrate this achievement, Trang has thrown open the naming of her newest Kimjoux jewellery collection to the public, with a beautiful pendant with pear-shaped cabochon tourmaline on 14k yellow gold chain, worth £900, up for grabs if you are the lucky winner of this competition.

If you’re looking for some inspiration as to what name to come up with, the design is inspired by majestic and ancient arches, as well as the roaring 20s.

Trang says: “This collection captures the spirit of empowerment and a woman’s right to self-determine her future. Our designs are made for strong women who are looking to develop their legacy and inspire the generation who will come after them, through creating statement pieces. With a sleek design and a modern take on the locking mechanism, using a side slide, this new collection can be personalised in many ways. Modern classic shapes have been combined with simple strong lines, using ethically sourced, brightly coloured,  gemstones that are closed with the ‘moving arch’ mechanism – this represents the shift in perspective on the world around us that we have all experienced in the last 18 months.

As the world begins to emerge from the pandemic, the collection captures a return to colourful adventures, possibilities and the life and legacy that we can make for ourselves.
