Heidi Garnett of Gem X, Rachael Taylor of The Jewellery Cut and Julien Riad Sahyoun discuss forging jewellery communities

Kick off day two of The Jewellery Cut Live with Heidi Garnett, Rachael Taylor and 2021’s Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year

October 1, 2021 By Annie North

Start your Saturday at The Jewellery Cut Live in association with Fuli Gemstones in the best possible way by joining Gem X founder Heidi Garnett and The Jewellery Cut founder Rachael Taylor for a discussion on jewels, trends and community, before having the chance to mingle with fellow jewellery lovers over a cup of coffee.

Both Gem X and The Jewellery Cut have been built around the principles of bringing likeminded people together, namely those who have a love of jewellery, to forge vibrant communities. Hear more about the origin stories of both groups, and why Heidi and Rachael feel it is so important to create spaces where jewellery connoisseurs can explore their passions.

Heidi and Rachael will be joined by Julien Riad Sahyoun, who was recently crowned Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year at The Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards 2021. Julien, who will be exhibiting at The Jewellery Cut Live in association with Fuli Gemstones, will share his experiences of taking part in every edition of the show since its inception in 2019 and how being part of that community has shaped his brand.

Those in the audience will be encouraged to ask questions and join in with this informal discussion at 10am on October 16th, 2021. After the talk, which will be held within the amphitheatre at The Royal Institution in London’s Mayfair, refreshments will be served and then the doors to the jewellery show will be opened, allowing guests the opportunity to discover the work of more than 20 independent fine jewellers.

Connect and chat with fellow attendees as well as the three experts at The Jewellery Cut Live in association with Fuli Gemstones on October 16th, 2021, at 10am. During this informal talk at the amphitheatre, held in The Royal Institution in London’s Mayfair, you’ll have the chance to network over coffee and hear all about key trends and learn more about The Jewellery Cut and Gem X organisations.
