Gem Visions 2020/21 trend report at The Jewellery Cut Live

Get up to date with cuts, colours, moods and fashion directions with an in-depth live presentation of Swarovski’s renowned jewellery trend forecast

February 9, 2020 By Rachael Taylor

Want to know what’s trending in jewellery? Join Giulia Modolo of Swarovski Gemstones for a comprehensive and practical trends talk based on the respected Swarovski Gem Visions report for 2020/21.

Modolo will present the findings and forecasts of Swarovski Gem Visions 2020/21 at 5.30pm on February 17th, 2020, at The Jewellery Cut Live. The theme of the trends presentation is ‘The Future of the Past’, exploring how our past is influencing future designs.

As well as taking guests through micro and macro jewellery trends, and exploring important gemstone cuts and colours for the upcoming seasons, Modolo will also speak about Swarovski’s trendsetting work with lab-grown diamonds and how this fits in with wider trends, from sustainability to changing consumer preferences.

Since 1965, Swarovski Gemstones has been applying its mastery of cutting to mined and created stones, pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology. The broad catalogue of perfection-cut rubies and sapphires, cubic zirconia and ceramics was expanded by the addition of coloured lab-grown diamonds, launched last month during Paris Couture Week.

With an eye on gem trends, Swarovski chose to kick this new chromatic offering off with cushion-cut lab-grown diamonds in shades led by four intriguingly named hero colours: Androgyny Flamingo (pink), Cubist Sky (blue), Heavy Metal Cherry (red) and Gothic Cognac (orange).

Swarovski Gem Visions 2020/21 trends presentation will take place at 5.30pm on February 17th, 2020, at The Jewellery Cut Live, held at The Royal Institution, 21 Albermarle Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 4BS. There are a limited number of early bird tickets priced at £10 (£20 thereafter). Book your ticket here
