The great selection of jewellery on show during The Jewellery Cut Live is not the only reason to make your way down to The Hoxton Holborn on February 18th & 19th. There will also be a fantastic roster of talks and workshops held during the two days.

 

Here is a quick snapshot of all the eight talks that will be running, with diverse subjects ranging from motherhood to lab-grown diamonds. Each session is strictly limited to 20 spaces, making for a cosy and collaborative environment in which you can join in the debate or put questions to the speakers, who are some of the best leading voices in contemporary jewellery right now.

 

Tickets to the talks cost £20 and include a welcome glass of prosecco – or another drink of your choice from the bar – as well as complementary nibbles, tea and coffee. You will also gain access to the main show, where you can browse the work of 18 jewellery brands and meet the designers. Click through on each talk title to book your ticket.

 

MONDAY, 18TH FEBRUARY

11.30am How to juggle life, work and motherhood with Cult of Youth

Join journalist and founder of the parenting blog The Rock Mum, Siobhan Lismore-Scott, as she quizzes panellists Kelly Seymour of Cult of Youth, Alice van Cal and Roxanne Rajcoomar-Hadden about what it’s like to launch jewellery businesses with babes in arms.

 

2.30pm How to style your jewellery, with Liza Urla of Gemologue

Get jewellery styling tips from the best in the business as award-winning blogger Liza Urla of Gemologue shares some of her secrets on how to make jewels look good on camera and on the body, for personal pleasure or professional perfectionism.

 

5.30pm What are lab-grown diamonds?

With Meghan Markle wearing them and Leonardo DiCaprio investing in them, laboratory-grown diamonds are a hot topic in jewellery right now. If you want to learn more about what these man-made gems are and how they compare to natural diamonds, sign up now.

 

7pm Looking beyond the Four Cs with Sarah Royce-Greensill

The Telegraph watches and jewellery editor Sarah Royce-Greensill will host a lively and informative evening as she speaks to jewellery designers Rachel Boston and Manpriya Bath about the beauty of alternative diamonds. Join the debate as they discuss the merits of slices and salt and pepper diamonds versus big, shiny bling.

 

TUESDAY, 19TH FEBRUARY  

 

1pm A guide to buying ethical jewellery

Do you have questions about ethics in the jewellery supply chain, or want to know how you can make ethical choices when buying jewellery? Then join ethical jewellery pioneers Arabel Lebrusan and Anna Loucah as they host a workshop to answer your questions and give you a better insight into positive changes being made in the industry.

 

2.30pm How to master Instagram, with Katerina Perez – NOW SOLD OUT

Jewellery influencer and writer Katerina Perez has used her passion for luxury jewellery to build a vibrant online community for her blog KaterinaPerez.com and has picked up nearly a quarter of a million followers on Instagram. Join her as she shares some of the lessons she has learned from conquering Instagram and shows you how to build your own following.

 

4pm A masterclass in jewellery design with Tessa Packard

Tessa Packard is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary jewellery design, with eclectic collections that fizz with imagination. Join this inspiring designer as she hosts a masterclass in jewellery design, explaining just how she transforms that first spark of inspiration into a finished piece of jewellery, taking you from sketchbook to final polish.
