Fabergé opens boutique opposite Westminster Cathedral

Historic jewellery brand to host clients at new by-appointment salon that blends classicism with the contemporary in both location and style

The hustle and bustle of London’s Victoria has become that little bit more refined with the opening of a new by-appointment Fabergé jewellery boutique, situated in a modern glass-fronted building opposite the historic Westminster Cathedral.

The new store, located within the 1 Cathedral Piazza complex, will provide an oasis for jewellery lovers, where they can discover Fabergé’s latest jewels and timepieces. Fabergé designer Liisa Tallgren will also use the space to meet clients to discuss bespoke commissions.

Outfitted in a palate of soft greys and blacks with flashes of gold to “balance classicism with modernity”, the store is accessible only through pre-arranged appointments. The boutique is a replacement for the historic jeweller’s previous lodgings at 1 Burlington Arcade, which has now closed down.

“It is our belief at Fabergé that buying anything precious must be accompanied by supreme service,” says Fabergé global sales director Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell. “Our dedicated By Appointment team make the experience of selecting a gemstone, dreaming up a modern-day heirloom for future generations personal and fun, whilst creating the ultimate memory of seeing a piece come to life.

“Every new and existing client has a different story and a beautiful piece of jewellery or timepiece should reflect that. No enquiry is too big or too small and our legacy at Fabergé is to encapsulate our clients’ personality and message into a timeless treasure which will withstand the test of any time”
