Heart-shaped pendant designed by music superstar comes up for auction at Fellows, as well as Rona Pfeiffer creation worn by Lorde

Random question, I know. But did you know Phil Collins is a jewellery designer? Obviously, it’s not his main career, but the famous musician has designed collections in the past – and you can get your hands on them at the next Fellows jewellery auction.
The jewellery auction, which ends today, features a heart-shaped necklace from a collection that Collins designed in partnership with the National Osteoporosis Society. The Two Hearts pendant has been crafted in 18ct gold with diamond pavé, and has a Shiva-cut diamond at its centre – a special cut of diamond that has additional facets to create more sparkle.
Fellows expects that the Phil Collins pendant, which was made in Britain, will sell for between £1,400 and £2,000 at auction.
Also in today’s Fellows jewellery auction is a necklace by celebrity jeweller Rona Pfeiffer, which is an exact copy of one worn by pop star Lorde in the video for Disclosure single Magnets. The bold bird necklace, which takes the form of swallow, is covered in rose-cut diamonds and has rubies for eyes.
The Rona Pfeiffer necklace, of which there are believed to only be a few in the world as both this and Lorde’s swallow pendants were made to order, is expected to sell at Fellows for between £500 and £700.
“It’s a thrill to offer more pieces of jewellery relating to high-profile figures in our timed auctions,” said Fellows business development manager Nicola Whittaker. “These two pieces are incredibly beautiful and have extraordinary back stories, which only add to their value.”
