When Vogue contributing jewellery editor Carol Woolton attended her first crystal reading in Los Angeles in 2018, she quickly realised that this was a movement, not a trend. So entranced was she that she decided to make healing gemstones and crystals the focus of her latest book, The New Stone Age.

At The Jewellery Cut Live in Association with Fuli Gemstones on October 15th, 2021, Carol will be sharing the discoveries she made while researching her book in an exclusive lecture, The Power of Healing Gems in The New Stone Age with Carol Woolton. 

From considering how Ancient Egyptians used gems as talismans to how today’s age of wellbeing and mindfulness is propelling the use of crystals as tools for healing, her research has taken the writer and jewellery authority down many avenues of exploration. Carol has spoken with curators of the Natural History Museum about the phenomenon, as well as some of fashion’s most prominent figures, including celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury.
